PUBLICLY (THE REAL ME)
Sweet, carefree, playful, and charming Christy or ‘Ann’ to most of my friends. I love free and spontaneous life. Easygoing, adventurous and I always wanted to experience versatile environment thinking that life is one big Ferris wheel ride. Sometimes you’re up and get down once in a while. My creativity, vibrancy and funky personality ‘as they say’ inspire the people around.

THE FUNNY SIDE OF ME (Crazy Me)
I love to eat a lot. Hunger makes my space out. It’s funny that I never wear wristwatch & coz I don’t want to be aware of time. I have my own control of my time. I like to confuse people and make them think of me in a whole new way. (Pag-isipan nyo naman ako ng wild! Ung bonggang-bongga..haha!) I can switch myself from a casual friend to a perfect stranger at the same time. In simpler terms, ‘my pagka loka-loka, pilya and babaeng bakla akits’. I’m not into pets, I’m not into sports.

PRIVATELY (THE OTHER ME)
Skeptic (doubter) and likes to judge by intuition. I maybe up one minute and down the next. My mood swings and sensitivity often comes in the way. I can be extremely exaggerated at times and can’t handle to calm down easily. Some perceive me as obsessive, compulsive & confrontational. I’d rather prefer to keep silent to let things fall into places. Sometimes saying very little is more alluring than saying a lot or its better not to say anything at all. I can pull myself out and go the distance to get away from a chaotic crowd.

PROFESIONALLY: (THE WORKING ME)
I’m endowed with the ability to lead a group. Focus and systematic at work. I’m determined to accomplish every task. Never having to say ‘its better’ when I know I can give my best.

STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART

LOVE:
Love is an accurate estimate of each others needs. The strange and funny felling that you’re falling in love, you’re into it and everything just collapse, you just give yourself totally.

HAPPINESS:
Happiness comes from the heart. You can’t pretend to be the happiest when you’re actually not. When you know you deserve to be happy, go for it! Don’t let it go no matter how hard it gets.

FRIENDSHIP:
Friendship can never be attained instantly. It’s something you have to earn and work on. A true friend stays no matter what. Beyond words, actions, distances & silence, you know & understand each other.

BEAUTY OR BRAIN:
Definitely BRAIN! A gift of wisdom is the one that lasts when everything else fades away. Everyone take you seriously when you’re smart & substantial.

GUY TURN–ONs:
My guy has to be smart! I easily get attracted to sexy eyes, having a very irresistible charm. Personality is more important than looks actually. He must be thoughtful, patient and kind. He needs to be able to consider and compromise. He must be God-fearing, family-oriented and has a zest for life. ON FLIRTING:
It’s all in the eye. My eyes can manage! I’m just naturally sweet & friendly only to those close to my circle. If I really find a guy interesting, I’d probably ignore him. I can’t look straight in the eyes, and if I will, he’d surely get notice.

FALLING IN LOVE:
Uhmm.. Falling in love & having a boyfriend for me is a ‘commitment’. It’s really no joke. With commitment, must have the maturity and sincerity. When you’re into it, obviously everything changes about you. You are as good as blind and weather you like it or not, being committed in a relationship makes you experience tensions from time to time.

BROKEN HEARTED:
Yah, I’m into it. I think, time wont heal a broken hearted me. Over! I let myself grieve. I cried myself and then GO! Indulge the freedom I’m having. Single lady!

MOVING ON:
An end of a relationship doesn’t mean an end of you. Anyway, ‘bitterness is love that lost its way’. If a guy can’t see what’s beautiful and special about you, then he’s not someone worth your time and not someone who deserves you either. Oh, c’mon, let go gladly…

LESSON LEARNED:
You have to take the risk of hurting coz you can’t appreciate love without pains. Try to forgive & forget as the only way to get high in love again. In a relationship, you can only hope for the best and expect nothing!

MY HIGH SCHOOL ROMANTIC FLAIR
This is something very sacred for me to be shared and since the blog requires, (cinakun dun) as far as batch ’02 is concerned, Dong and I used to be an item and has been linked way back in High School.

Here it goes…

Dong is a story of a guy who is calm & serene. Deep thinker, organized in nature, with unwavering faith that with all honesty, made me fall in love with God. Well, mine is a story of a girl living a free-spirited life, making most of everything the way I spell ‘happiness’. Mysteriously, I got a wrong thing that’s why he loves me.
High School as we are, we were subjected to campus love matches. We are paired, linked, teased and we hit it off. He’s my first boyfriend. We graduated High School living everything hanging. Then we find each other again after 5 years. The best 2 years set aside for both of us to know and feel comfortable with each other is so unbelievingly great.
Til then and again, we failed. We didn’t make it. I feel sorry, but I can’t go into details. It’s over. As much as possible, I try to understand the reasons and intentions behind all things. Ours maybe a failed love story coz perhaps, God is so busy…He’s so busy writing the best love story for me.
Let me assure you, ‘someday, I’ll have the best love story to tell…a love story that I’ll be proud to share’.

The Enchanting Journey

Hi, your Princess CHRISTY here…I’m getting ready for the enchanting journey with DODONG, the Stallion. C’mon, we’ll take you to fantasy.

First, let’s visit to the Secret Garden saying hello to JAPHET, the Red Rose having a heart to heart talk with RIO, the Bumble Bee. I can hear the whispering of ADAM and MARK, the Gumamelas together with LYN LEE and SHELLA JOY, the Tulips. Look! Flying from petals to petals are ORLAN, MARKILLE and RAYMUND, the Butterflies. There is RAYMAR, the Rabbit, JOEFRY, the Dog chasing JUNESSA, the Cat.

Down the Farmland, I meet JESSE, the Cow and ROWEN, the Pig. Hey, let’s greet the busy MIEKO, MARNEL, JEFFER and RONALD, the Ants. In a nearby Swan Lake, there goes LEA, the Swan with paddling ROSEMARIE, BRIGITTE, MARIEBETH and FLORY, the Ducks. Ops! There’s DANNILYN, the Mudfish, BILLY JANE, the Snail and ISIDRO, the Eel. Calling my attention are JOYCIE, JOCEY and RACHEL, the Water Lilies. On the other pond is RONNA, the Milkfish happily eating NOEL, the Algae. Weeeh!

Soaring above the sky is RANNEL, the Eagle and PHILIP, the Hawk. Wow! There’s an ocean! Oh, JESSEBEL, the Mermaid and ERWIN, the Starfish were on the shore. Introducing FRECEL, the Crab; SHELLA MAE, the Puffer Fish; JOAQUIN, the Jelly Fish; and RIZALIN, the Mother Pearl. So nice!

The journey goes on reaching the Enchanted Forest. There’s JESIE, the Narra Tree who is gliding to IRIS, the Orchid. I’m enjoying the sweet scent of JANE, the Sampaguita; amaze to CAROLINA, the Rafflesia while listening to MARK, the Nightingale.

In another tree were DENNIS, the Parrot and NEPTH, the Owl smiling to GRACE JASMIN and JUMELYN, the Sunflowers…oooy! There is GM ROKO, the Deer enticing MARGARET, the Doe along the sparkling river that surrounds the romantic forest. With them are CHARLETTE, ELSA, APRIL, the Ostrich and DANDAN, the Giraffe. Let’s have a closer look to the dancing SHERLYN, MARQUEL and REDELIZA, the Elves.

Whoa! What’s that roar? Oh, it’s NELGIE, the Gorilla, REDIEL, the Cheetah MAYNARD, the Tiger, and RHEYEN, the Lion King. Hahaha….amazing!!!

Hooooo! Along with Dodong, the Stallion I’m enjoying the beauty of the sunset going back to my Castle. What a thrilling and enchanting journey it has been! I enjoyed so much! Hope you too...

The NNSF Batch 2002 is one of the significant alumni of Numancia National School of Fisheries. Tangible evidence to the valuable quality education NNSF guaranteed to its graduates.

During the past 7 years, the NNSF Batch 2002 actively holds gatherings and various get together aiming to reminisce the great times, and rekindle the memories of High School days.

It is a desire to renew friendship and honor our dear Alma Mater where we are nurtured with positive values greatly instrumental to the success of our respective endeavors in life in whatever circumstances we may be.

Although it was simple and humble get together celebrations yearly, warmth of laughter & love is felt. And because we, in batch 2002 are exage dreamers! We dare to dream something grand. And we believe we can make it the best way we know how.

The team was composed of Japhet Tolosa & Christy Navarra the prime movers. Reinforced by Mark Leyson, Hermie De Mateo, Charlette C. Orbien, Mark Macavinta, Jane Tamba, Rio Leyson, Ronald Gomez, Mieko John Igon-Igon, John Ronald Regalado, and Raymund Valencia the core group. Toughened by supports from formidable allies abroad, Rheyen Aguirre, Margaret Peralta.

It started as a dream of one team inspired with determination driven by virtue of friendship and love. The Batch 2002 Grand Reunion is a dream coming true!

Class Prophecy

The Climax of Tomorrows Vision
IV Year SY 2001 – 2002

Days passed away… suddenly, the darkness dominated everything out of sight. Sphere gold of glittering brightness sent forth majestic rays, but cool breeze whisper the night and it was perfectly calm. Thoughts of what the new millennium had in store for me and my classmates flashed into my mind. How will our life be in the year 2020? 18 years from now, will it be the same as it is today? What about my classmates? Will they be able to find place in the planet Earth? Finding no immediate and definite answers to my questions, I shifted my thoughts into the land of exaggerating fantasy. To the highest level of hallucination and extent illusion that no Fisherinians ever dared to dream! And in just a minute of comfy, a flash of glittering brightness brought me to the isles of wonderland…

The year 2020 was en era of interplanetary journey. People can freely and conveniently travel from planet Earth to outer space, to the moon, and other stellar bodies in space.

Year 2020, I found myself soaring up with my anti-gravity space carpet into the doorstep of a modular unit, a multi-storey capsule I lived. I had just settled on the air bed when my 2N20 model cellphone ring and RIZALIN DAPLIN appeared on the video touch screen. She was in a business trip to planet Jupiter and we chat as if we were in the same space. How excited I was to tell her that Computer Engineers RONALD GOMEZ, MAYNARD TABUENA, and REDIEL REDANIEL successfully invented and visualized the Anti-Gravity Space Carpet which was commercialized & widely used in our very own planet Earth. In the extent of our conversation, she mentioned MIEKO JOHN IGON-IGON who put up the JoMike Technobank in Pluto with bank associates RAYMOND ARBIZ and JOHN JAY TAGLAY.
Managing the Accountancy Department were RONA SILAO, MARY AN MASULA, RACHEL PADERES and MA. VANESSA JOY TORDECILLAS. She also told me about KIM MAANG and DAN-DAN MAANG who had jointly ventured in the manufacturing of Space Cars and Space Shuttles which were common mode of transportation for humans going to other planets. She also gave details about her businesses such as Microsoft Forming and was planning to put up another branch of computer business in planet Mars.

Recently, she had an appointment with BILLY JANE ANZA, the sole owner and manager of newly opened chain of restaurants in planet Neptune. She also had to meet JOANNE PELAEZ who is very occupied experimenting on how to produce new capsules containing fertile cells specializing immediate pregnancy for women which will take only 9 days to give birth. “Great!” I shouted jubilantly. I bade her goodbye and automatically, she vanished off from the video screen.

Meanwhile, I program the microcomputer to the news and current events sitcom. I scanned the TV program and was amazingly surprised to know that the newly elected and ever bachelor planet Earth president was my former classmate RHEYEN AGUIRRE. But then, memories flashed back that Pres. Aguirre was our former student governor during our High School days. “Oh!” Rheyen had really engaged his life in politics ever since. However, in the fitness and sports site includes the Body Builders APOLINARIO AGUIRRE, JOEFFRY PANGANIBAN, CARLO MARAVILLA, JOMAR CONSTANTINO, RALPH PADERES and DENNIS LAURENTE. Together with Sumo Wrestling World Heavy Weight Champion ROWEN MAGDAEL. While REZLY TABLANZA break the universal record of World’s Fastest Runner. However, in fashion and beauty site CHARLETTE CUNANAN’S name outshone the others. She was well known for her disposable exotic and elegant party and model creations which were available in her very own Boutique. They’re very in demand and you could dispose them right after you wore it.

My having come across the names of my classmates made me feel nostalgic. Memories we spent together at our beloved Alma Mater the Numancia National School of Fisheries then came rushing back on me….
I set the microcomputer aside & pressed a button. Then, a soft-soothing music filled the room. At first, I was lost to whose musical piece I was listening to, but later on, I recognize the voice. It was IRIS VILLANUEVA, the Divine Diva whom I’ve learned that she just arrived from singing concerts in Planet Saturn. Iris was reportedly engaged to Saturn Air Force Captain JESIE PELAYO. The music seemed to lull me into a deep sleep, so I pressed the button and the lights in my bedroom shut off.

Early the next morning, I hurriedly boarded a spaceship powered by atomic energy bound to outer space. I was about to witness the romantic union of two hearts. With my spacesuit on, I take glance at my Rolex Space Watch. Surely it was 10 seconds before the ceremony will take place. At first, I felt uneasy inside the spaceship. However, MARY AN HENDERSON, the space attendant assured me that it was going to be a wonderful experience. I tried to maintain my composure and looked curiously at the T.V. screen in the windshield of the spaceship. As I was looking so…I recognize were News Correspondent & Broadcast Journalist Icon and Intergalactic Awardee JAPHET TOLOSA with co-host MARK ANTHONY LEYSON. Inside the spaceship were familiar looking passengers. I was glad to know that MARY GRACE TABAL, LEA LAURENTE, SHEILA JOY VILLANUEVA and ROSELYN VALLEJO were also on board. They were going to report for work to an Accounting Firm based in Neptune. Through them, I learned that the men on the space computer-based controllers were JUSUELO & JOSSIL CAWALING, ISIDRO ARTATES, ROSAURO ZABALA, JOHN RONALD REGALADO, MICHAEL PERIERA, and CHARS DELA CRUZ in a fully equipped spacesuits and high-tech gadgets.

It didn’t take us long to reach outer space. The spaceship rushed in a full speed approaching the planet Venus. The grand outer space wedding is of my dear friend, our former space beauty titlist MARGARET PERALTA and GM ROKO GARMINO, a planet Uranus Computer Engineer.

As we reached the planet Venus, I glance on the spaceships windshield and I was greatly amazed and surprised as I found the presence of my classmates during our high school days who excitedly joined GM and Marge in a Holy Matrimony at Venus Great Basilica. Upon my entrance, the wild and electrifying voice of the vocalist reverberated throughout the entire hall. He was PHILIP JESSON ELIAS of the Planetary Harmonic Orchestra who provided the musical backdrop. Principal sponsors I recognize were planet Neptune Chief Judge GRACE JASMIN VEGA, GERALYN MENDIOLA a staff nurse in one of Mercury’s Most State-of-the Art Hospital and JOCEY MAGPUSAO, an interplanetary awardee for most successful Business Entrepreneur.

The wedding entourage was led by flower girls who showered the aisle with space scented flowers are the cute quadruplets daughters of JUNESSA CASTILLON and ROMMEL RUBINAS, both top Executive of Mars Business Firm together with the smart & bubbly children of planet Earth’s LT. GEN. RIO LEYSON & Sports Commissioner ROJANA TAGALA. Anti gravity ring & coin bearers was adorable son of DR. RANNEL SUANTE with charming wife DR. JANE TAMBA both Cardiologists. How cute are their children with their space suits!

At the altar, celebrating the solemn vow were POPE REYMAR MARAVILLA, HIS IMMINENCE CARDINAL JOSEPH PORAL, ARCHBISHOP LENY RAMOS with the Officiating Priest, Fr. DARBY CEBUANO & Fr. CARLOS TAYCO. With Mother Superiors CHRISTY JOY TAFALLA, JUVELYN GOMEZ and ANALYN CESAR. Oh! They looked very immaculate in their white spacesuits.

The grand reception was followed at Charon’s Lunar Master Hotel, owned & managed by CHARON MILLOROSO with business tycoons REDELIZA ALCAZARIN, SYLVIA CUSTODIO, RICHELYN GUILLERMO, GLENALYN RAFAEL and ZEARINA VALENZUELA. Guests were greeted by sumptuous wedding cake of JUMELYN ROBERTO Pastry Design with SHELLA MAE NAVEJAS, LYN LEE RASGO, LESLIE ALCAZARIN, FLORABEL PELAYO and CHRISTINE ICAYAN as Pastry & Space Cuisine Personnel. Along with them includes Professional Chefs who are JOSEPH YU, MARNI GONZALES, JUFEL GRACIANO and GEORGE TENORIO headed by Chef MARKILLE MENESES…a Culinary Instructor.

Guests were also entertained by solar space Movie Personality & Professional Dance Instructor LEODE BALTAZAR, FREDERICK CAWALING, SUZETTE RAPIZ, MARY AN GORDO, MERVIE AN ENRIQUEZ, VIOAN TUGAGAO and DIOSAN RETUBIS, a Grand Slam outer space Best Actress in her latest movie.

In the reception, long time friends & classmates were also reunited. I recognize were solid friendships of ROSEMARY MAGPUSAO, JOCELYN NERVAL, MARIBETH GONZALES, BRIGETTE MACAVINTA & FLORY DURAN, together with ROMMEL CAHILIG, DENNIS TABASON, JESSICA BESA, FREDISEL ARELLANO, MARY GRACE MENDIOLA & DANILYN DELA CRUZ. I also glanced sweet & dazzling pairs: ARCHITECT NEPTH DE JUAN & SHERLYN RABINO; STEVE SOLANOY & MARQUEL BALIQUIA; and JESSEBELLE MAGPUSAO & RYAN NATABIO.

The bride is wearing an elegant gown designed by a famous fashion designer JOAQUIN ALVAREZ. His creations of gown collections are displayed in Fashion Boutiques located in the different planets of the solar system. Working with him is NOEL MACAPAWA. The most in-demand fashion designer.

The mesmerizing make-up of the bride is by MARK ANTHONY MACAVINTA, a famous Make-up Artists & Hair Stylist who owned a luxury Star Struck Beauty Salon in planet Uranus. The church was elegant in ADAM ANOS design of floral bouquets from a huge hectare flower farm in Holland in our very own planet Earth.

What highlighted the reception was the presence of our white-haired mentors. My only regret was that some of our teachers remained singular & it’s too late for them to get plural. But, they were amazingly young looking that they do not grow old that fast.

After the wedding celebration, ERWIN VIAGEDOR & JEFFER BUSTAMANTE both top business entrepreneur offer the newly wed a dream honeymoon in a newly discovered planet named after the couple with space ticket and hotel accommodation for free.

The next day, everybody is in a fully equipped spacesuit because JESSE CAYNAP, a Space Aeronautic & I, previously agreed to spend our Grand Reunion in the Moon. We boarded a rocket ship piloted by no other than JESSE himself.

Inside the rocket ship, towering heights of Flight Stewardess I recognized were ELSA CAHILIG, APRIL TIPAY, JOYCIE TEMPLO, and KAREEN PERIERA. While personnel employed it the Computer Flight Controller Company are NELGIE ASCAÑO, LOUIE IGTANLOC, PETER TUAZON, SATURNINO REMBULAT, JEFFRY RETEO, MARNEL MASALLO & ROBERTLY LUMBAD.

I am sitting in comfort inside & went into a conversation with my classmates & friends. We had dinner together inside Jesse’s Push-Button Restaurant that provides electronic food services that we enjoyed much. The rocket ship’s Food Station serves fresh foods by Atomic Sterilization & was served to our table in just a push on a controller buttons.

Space Scientists CAROLINA ALONZO, SHEILA ROPA, JENELYN CORDOVA, MYLY DELOS SANTOS, MA. CHRISTINA VEGA and SHARON VILLARIAS were busy experimenting on how to produce new supplies of different variety of foods in great vats of chemicals under artificial lights.

In the end, I had the surprise in my life when I met handsome looking men seated across me. God, they’re HOT! At first I could hardly recognize them, but later on, Oh! I can’t believe they were HERMINIGILDO DE MATEO III, FRECEL LUMAGDA, RAYMUND VALENCIA, and LOIS TORDA whom I’ve mistaken them as an English nobleman! What a transformation and evolution! Whew!

The much awaited grand reunion celebration in the moon came at last. As what I expected, many did come. Some came together with their respective husbands & wives and their children. While there are some who stayed single and loving it.

The joy that everyone experienced was beyond compare. It was indeed a thrilling & pleasurable trip that I didn’t wish to end my journey.

But as the hour of our stay draws nearer, we are longing for the days that are no more…sad to say, but we must!!!

FAREWELL, Alma Mater, farewell classmates & friends, farewell teachers…
Someday, we…the seed that you’ve been nurtured in 4 years will grow with fruit–bearing branches & you will be proud of us! We foresee that the bright years ahead are waiting for us after High School Graduation.

To the Seniors ….we have to go on with our flights. God will always be with us.

Till we meet again someday and somewhere and may all our wishes do come true!!!

This is one of those rare moments in life when we find ourselves looking back on where we have been, while at the same time looking forward to the future.

Behind us are precious memories and genuine experiences that we will never learn to forget. Heartfelt emotions will fade but never disappear, and ideals that will change in forms but remain in substance.

It seems such a legacy to learn from the PAST behind, prepare for the FUTURE ahead, and live the PRESENT to the fullest.

For without our past we have nothing on which we build our future, and without the future, our past would have no opportunity to come into its full bloom.

Do you remember our High School?

High school life was simple; life was easy … life was fun!

Who would ever forget the warm & sweet moments of our high school days? It is where everything started...

I can still remember…the tricycle fare then was P5.00; the principal was Sir Romeo P. Francisco; the guard Jimmy Ayalin, Ronald Vega & Greg delos Santos; the lumpiang gulay sa canteen ag pisong juice sa plastic; spaghetti/pancit sandwich ni Nang Judith; Nang Ilda’s tinumong saging, Nay Conching’s ice water, Lawanian’s Carinderia & Nang Ging’s barbequehan…whew! Those were the days.........

NNSF life was peaceful & relaxing. Sitting beside fishponds, thinking about someone… talking about something, laughing about anything…

We used to review inside the library or under chico trees sa may flagpole… eugad sa grounds kapin kun enumeration do exam?…malupit nga minimorize eang! Kun uwa’t klase, tambay sa tangke or sa library, pamati it Fm radio, bukad magazines, baktas pa Camanci, or warang it Navitas diretso pa it Baybay, Makato ag bonggang-bonggang hinibayag! Kinaon it butong, taeaba, ag mag inistorya…

Remember…the acquaintance party, the intrams, where we are all united to win the championship trophy, the JS Prom, where we enjoyed a night with our friends and the ones close to our hearts?! uhmm; each & every school days that we spend with our classmates; each test that we prepared for and sometimes didn’t even bother to study at all.. each homework which was supposed to be done at home but was done in school (hueowaran)…each project that we worked on and every performance that we performed well…

T’was only yesterday....
