Do you remember our High School?

High school life was simple; life was easy … life was fun!

Who would ever forget the warm & sweet moments of our high school days? It is where everything started...

I can still remember…the tricycle fare then was P5.00; the principal was Sir Romeo P. Francisco; the guard Jimmy Ayalin, Ronald Vega & Greg delos Santos; the lumpiang gulay sa canteen ag pisong juice sa plastic; spaghetti/pancit sandwich ni Nang Judith; Nang Ilda’s tinumong saging, Nay Conching’s ice water, Lawanian’s Carinderia & Nang Ging’s barbequehan…whew! Those were the days.........

NNSF life was peaceful & relaxing. Sitting beside fishponds, thinking about someone… talking about something, laughing about anything…

We used to review inside the library or under chico trees sa may flagpole… eugad sa grounds kapin kun enumeration do exam?…malupit nga minimorize eang! Kun uwa’t klase, tambay sa tangke or sa library, pamati it Fm radio, bukad magazines, baktas pa Camanci, or warang it Navitas diretso pa it Baybay, Makato ag bonggang-bonggang hinibayag! Kinaon it butong, taeaba, ag mag inistorya…

Remember…the acquaintance party, the intrams, where we are all united to win the championship trophy, the JS Prom, where we enjoyed a night with our friends and the ones close to our hearts?! uhmm; each & every school days that we spend with our classmates; each test that we prepared for and sometimes didn’t even bother to study at all.. each homework which was supposed to be done at home but was done in school (hueowaran)…each project that we worked on and every performance that we performed well…

T’was only yesterday....

I miss Ma’m Gilda Fosana’s sweet smiles & friendly face; Ma’m Libertad Ibabao’s strict yet, substantial approach; Ma’m Conchita Yu’s brain twisting Math equations, Ma’am Shirley Magno & Ms. Baylon’s charming personality, Ma’m Louela Clavel & Ma’m Felpa Gardose’s motherly approaches, Ma’m Zeditah Requiro & Ma’m Faith Iguban’s expertise in Fishery & Home Economics, Ma’m Daisy Peralta’s unfailing wit & humor, Ma’m Ureta’s nice ideas in history & culture, Ma’m Maripet Custodio & Sir Gabriel Vega’s awesome ideas in Chemistry & Physics, Ma’m Rosita Malapingan’s dance moves in PEHM, Ma’m Virgie Patnugot’s swaying hips, and of course, Ma’m Lilia Torres’ amazing aura; Ma’m Myla Clavel’s youthful glow & wholesome humor…Sir Jimmy Mansayon’s energetic & mysterious looks, Sir Nonito Solano’s artistic ways, Sir Rammie Mansayons friendly smiles, Sir Icawalo’s tantalizing eyes & fatherly figure, Sir Magno’s kind nature, Sir Peralta’s in-shirt forever fashion hehehe…and Sir Ernesto Cayetano’s green jokes & titillating advices…mahalay ang banat ni sir!

Remember us...the students!!

The cream of the crops, the teacher’s pets, the huggables, the chikadoras & the silent moods, the class clowns (ang mga patawa) the Maria Clara’s (mahinhin to ‘d max), & the Rev. Fathers (magpapari kaya?) the drunken masters (manginginom) & the better late than never; the power puff GAYs & the hot babes, the class dancers & cheer leaders; the bullies & the furious, the cool & the overly sensitive, the love teams, mga etchuseros & etchuseras…

All this that I miss! adds to the sparkle that glistens in the name Numancia National School of Fisheries!. . .Astig!!
