FATED TO BE FRIENDS

…first met in a high school ‘tambayan tree house’ near NNSF Quadrangle. We’re in 2nd year high school. First impression: Japhet is quite noticeable coz she’s so loud! Transferee ron hah, imaw ta eagi do bida sa section B. Ga pinakita imaw it photo album na sa mga classmates. Naki tan-aw man ako. First time encounter namun, we became friends right at that moment. She finds me very conservative & silent type nung araw.

BONDED BABES

We became classmates in 3rd year to 4th year & get even closer when we joined folk dance. Yun na! Si Japhet, she’s so ridiculous! Loka-loka dun, ang dating conservative Ann, halah medyo nagsangag-sangag it sangkiri. Haha! Influential? Funny once you get to know them. Lukaret kun mag-iba, matindi do naiisip nga punch lines, basagan tat bungo kun abuton it topak, mag hinibayag, kinaeas-kaeas, ing-ing kaistorya but both proven nice & genuine people in batch ’02.

SIMPLE GIRLS, SIMPLE PLEASURES

Japh & Ann are both nice & easy to be with. Mababaw ang kaligayahan. Super friendly! Si Japh sobrang abo nga mga guy friends nung high school. Mga eaki ta haeos do close na. More on section B & C. Like Rio (best friend) Joseph Yu (ex-BF), Markille (clown), Orlan (trusted). While, Ann had only few sa Sec. A - Rheyen (close) Jesse (indescribable) Rannel (bro-like) Marnel (harut) GM (bf ni Marge). Japh is just being super friendly sa mga eaki unlike Ann, aloof, coz she’s just confident to get along with guys close to her circle.

BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER

Both seriously linked & got respective partners before we graduated high school. hehehe…makara dun eh, dali lang do graduation kato, we found ourselves in pairs, with someone special sa panan-awan namun. Pamatyagan malang gali namun to! Hara eon, imaw eot-a rah! Sinamon rito! Toinks! Si Japh sa eaki ngato ag ako, sa kilaea ko ngato…haha, anonymous? Those were froggy choices..me ganun? Will of fate yata, to the highest level, kumerengkeng ag tapos hay ano? Panghak eang gid…weeeeeh!

ONCE COUSINS, UH!

My friendship with Japh survived with my connection with her cousin. It didn’t change anything. Mas nauna naman kami naging mag best friend than naging kami it anang cousin ngato in fairness! When I & her cuz were still together, it was just awkward on my part. Kaoeogtas kuno ako hambae ni Japh. I had all the inarte mode and ka etchusan factor all the way. But Japh was never the type na nakikialam in between. And she never said anything against to anyone.

WE TOLERATE EACH OTHER

We appreciate & celebrate each difference. We wish each other well. We make sure were happy for each other (bahala eon, basta kun siin ka masadya, malipayon man ako para kimo). We’d be our own critics, pero light do banat, magaan do impact…hehe di nakakapikon. In attitudes, I have the tendency to get wet & wild when dragged. While si Japh, firm & consistently righteous ta dun imaw hehehe…

SINGLES & LOVIN’ IT

Our status last year…hihihi. Kami? zero balance? C’mon! Oh, yes! Were about to put up our imaginary ‘monasteryo’ exclusively para kamon daywa. For the broken-hearted club, we try to smoothen each others feelings with advices, & encouragement, nakaka lift ng spirit. Siin ka’t ing kakita nga gamaea eon ing utok it aeam-aeam kana & then she would still reason out chu-chu, kalurky! That was during ‘eaki ngato’ time nana…my huling paalam eon ngani dun, last will & testament, mga ganyang level pero harun buhi man gihapon! Oveeer! Ga mongha eota kaya kami…Oops, pero mga hopeful naman! There’s this side in our minds saying, “ikaw lang mag mongha nhe, soloha”, ahahahahaha!

THROUGH THICK & THIN

Our friendship is definitely, a solid rock! Since then, we’ve been friends through the years & I want to keep it forever. Wala siyang secret na hindi ko alam nun! Lately medyo secretive eota imaw. Na realize na siguro nga uwa ngani ako ga share masyado. Haha, ako malang do sobrang makulit, may pagka malit ag etchusera sa lovelife nana. In fairness, na intindi nana if I have nothing to share in terms of my private life. I’m not just vocal. For Japh, If want to open up, go! but if I won’t, uwa imaw ga pilit. But she knows everything din naman eventually…hehehe!

TEST OF FRIENDSHIP

Though we can’t see each other as much as we want, like before, we will always be there for each other. A true friend never changes. Even if you don’t see each other for the longest time, and when you do, it’s like you’ve never been apart. We still keep in touch! Once BFF always BFF!!
