BIG TIME SEAMAN VIP’s
Rheyen, Rannel, Frecel & Philip

aahyeahh!!

Being a seaman, a big time price to pay,
Missing him, is truly hard when he’s away...

There comes a hug and a promise for more…
As his ship slowly glides away from the shore.

Whispering his love & care for you,
You whisper back that you miss him too...

It’s being alone with nothing to hold…
It’s being young, but feeling so old.

Reluctantly, painfully letting him go,
But it hurts your feelings from wanting him so...

Watching him cruisin’ in tears…
Standing alone with your hopes, dreams and fears…

It’s like sending a letter, fastened with a smile,
To a far away love, in a far away mile...

It’s clasping your hands, kneel and pray,
And really mean the things you say...

Fondness will foster your dream,
Of that far away seaman, your mind fairly beams...

Days go by, nice talking to the air,
You wait for the day to hear that he's OK...

And remember he is thinking of you everyday,
He’s sad and lonely while he’s so far away...

Home is the seaman when he is in love,
And it’s all worth a powerhug!!!

kami ang bida...

…a bunch of simply bright, bubbly, funny, playful, determined & adventurous classmates & friends with various characters rolled into one great ‘panghak’ personality. We can’t find the best word to describe how flexible each one of us, kapin kun mag sanib pwersa, nakakaloka! Surprisingly, we are the first to admit that the only common bond we have as far as friendship is concerned, “laughter”. The rest lies on destiny…

...destiny has indeed a funny way of twisting, turning & tweaking friendship. By destiny alone, this team have almost achieved so much & gone so far. With love & care on each other, friendship may have stumbled upon a winning stroke. Through the years, there’s always a cool joke that emerge behind silence & then, the giggling starts…

...our friendship that though is separated by distance & situation, however remain constant, connected & intimate across ocean. Life tested us with hard times; love blessed us with good times. We will hold hand in hand & share magical feelings together…

...this is NNSF batch ’02! This is what NNSF batch ’02 will always be…a circle that continues to create waves!

Ms. Gilda C. Fosana
Still Sexy @ 60

“A spirited mind never stops within itself;
it is always aspiring and going beyond its strength.”

Ma’am Gilda C. Fosana, NNSF Greatest Common Factor. I had the impression of an empowered woman who never lost her vigor for life. I’ve known her better through the years and therefore have a deeper appreciation of her…

FULLNESS OF A WOMAN

A spirited mind, she’s a woman who has that! Not because of her 60 years lengthy list of accomplishments but because she is someone, who enjoys life with flair. More than her professional achievements, she’s a mother. And that speaks volume. To be able to balance a career and family life, to have raised children who all graduated from college is something! But to have raised intensely competitive children is a totally different thing…it’s a blessing!! That speaks of the parents’ dedication to their “job”, that speaks of the woman they call mom. And that can already put a period to this post.

But I also would like to focus on the things I remember about her being my mentor because they are great things to ponder on…

“SHOW ME WHAT YOU’VE GOT!”

Her greatest teachings: “glow gladly & graciously!” I remember how Ma’am Gilda C. Fosana motivated me & became positive influence in my attitude as a student. Her task as a teacher is not just to bring out the best in her student but to elicit it, for she believes the best is there already & she knows that each one of us has the potential to come into its full bloom.

I am, being so shy & reserved freshmen then. Although I excelled in academic but sad to say, I failed myself in extra-curricular activities. I’m such a loser during my 1st year in high school simply because I’ve no guts! Ma’am Fosana is my great motivator. A driving force that encouraged me to step out of my self-made shell of isolation & mingle fabulously with the crowd.

Hambae ni ma’am, “Christy, kanugon ka kun mag huya-huya ka. Indi magpapirdi kanda.” I want to see a better, brighter, bolder Christy Navarra.” Go! Go! Transform to the highest level! Umpisa kato, alafar ng bonggang-bongga sa mga school activities…pumapagaspas! I really enjoyed it all & I had the most fun! Ma’am Fosana is always there smiling & supporting all the way. That I should say, I overcame shyness & finished my 4-years in High School with flying colors…

Until then, those powerful words from ma’am Fosana struck me most & carried me for the rest of my days. I will never learn to forget you ma’am forevermore…
