BFF Christy & Japhet, d'best!
Ever year ga facilitate kami ni Japhet it reunion, ga istorya kami daywa, ‘When will the time nga ma panghugtan gid naton kun ano atong masarangan as mature & responsible facilitators?”
Well, ever since, were thinking something grand! We know we can make it, the best way we know how. And this is really it!
OCTOBER
Kay Japhet naghalin do idea to push through a grand get together. October pa, pressure eon ako kana. She suggested, I approved do tandem namon daywa. Nagtxt imaw October 2009, Ok, relax, “my ma attend pa kaya nhe?” Considering the following points: 1. Accessibility, 2. Availability and 3. Budget. She replied, “Go!”
THE DATE & TIMEAw ahh, ok Go! First move is to choose a date which is DECEMBER 27, Sunday 1:00 PM do pinaka possible. Next…look for a cozy venue (take note, bukon it nipa hut cottage this time hah..abah?) and then, think of a concept, must be a Hawaiian beach party. Navitas is the first option dahil “maeapit”. Our goal in the very first place is “abu maka attend, magkilita ag mag-iliba” kita sa Batch 2002 after seven years. Then, there goes the perfect theme:
“Livin’ & Lovin’ @ SEVEN”
A get together celebrating 7 years of friendship, happiness and memories.
THE VENUE
I contacted Aroma Resort, Navitas, Numancia. After several negotiations, GO! naka reserved do venue for the Grand Get Together October pa lang! Charlette, Japhet & I thought of a cocktail Hawaiian concept. In just a call & txt away everything falls into place. So exciting! Tanan do plans nahimo thru cellphone & internet. Uwa gid namon ha discussed personally in a round table. Parang, sige eang ahh, kaya dun. Kun ano do idea ni Japh, suportado ko, to the rescue si Charlette, Mark M. & Mark L. We tolerated each other. hehehe!
THE COMMITTEE
The reunion committee was formed. “The Dream Team” composed of: Japhet, Christy, Charlette, Mark M., Hermie, Mark L., Jane, Rio, and Ronald.
TASKING & COUNTDOWN OF ACTIVITIES
Tasking & what to do list was formalize: the venue & finance committee, invitation & program, artist, communication, registration & attendance, food & settings, sounds & drinks and raffle committee were assigned.
NOVEMBER
I started visualizing the invitation format & program flow. Deal with Dodong for the tarpaulin lay-out, idea naman ni Japhet which turned out sa nakaka-inlove nga lay-out it tarpaulin. Bonggang-bongga pagka print which undeniably made us gets even more excited. Nag umpisa man kami it inform sa mga batchmates nga my contact sa CP. There goes the online solicitation! Overwhelming do support ni Rheyen, nice response sa mga batch sponsors whom without a second thought nag pledge it cash for foods & drinks ag gin panindigan all the way. Finalize eon do mga activities for the big day. Start man it distribute it mga invitations last week of November and of course invitation to guest mentors were formalized.

Uhmm, by this month comes the unexpected negative vibes, mga anticipated inarte, ka etchusan ag ka charingan, nakon gid…hahaha! It’s not just like what you think nga basta-basta ako nag inarte…talagang na pa-cancel ko do reunion! Back-out kun back-out. Well, that’s another story. Anyway, thanks to Japhet, I can felt how determined & consistent imaw, so GO! GO! GO!

On the second week, gin purchase ni Japhet sa Manila do mga sports equipments: Basketball, Volleyball, Volleyball Net, Soft Ball, bat & gloves (air pin) and pair of wireless microphone for the need of NNSF.

Lea (500) and all others nga gin pang hold-up, harrassed, black mail, gin pakonsenxa, ag gin threat namun do andang kabuhi para magtao it andang amot hehehe..sayod ninyo kun sin-o kamo. Sa mga uwa gid nagpabatyag as if uwa sanda ga exist, uwa’t amig-amig!
